I bet many of you have seen Frozen, one of Disney’s biggest commercial successes. The story is about the true love between two sisters. Elsa, the older sister with the secret magical ability to control ice and snow runs away from her home to somewhere she can open herself and let it all go. Anna, the younger sister, tries to find Elsa and along the way meets many new friends. I learned that true love isn’t only between a man and a woman, it can be found in your very own family. That’s all for the summary, to learn more watch the movie “Frozen.”
I had so much fun writing this, I hope you will enjoy it! Have you thought about what would happen if Frozen had been something else? What if Frozen:
- …was a horror movie?
If Frozen was a horror movie, then at the end when Anna punched Prince Hans he would have turned into a monster and eaten everyone. Elsa’s powers wouldn’t even work on him because he would have been indestructible. Also he might have become the scary ruler of the entire world.
- …was a reality T.V show?
If Frozen was a reality T.V show, then the whole plot with Prince Hans proposing to Anna, Elsa running away and Kristoff helping Anna would be the most dramatic moments of the show. Of course, the reality will take away the magic, where Olaf wouldn’t be a talking snowman; he would be a regular little boy. Elsa wouldn’t have ice powers; she would be a normal older sister and Elsa would live in a regular wooden house, not in an ice castle.
- …had a tragic ending?
If Frozen had a tragic ending, then when Anna turned into ice, she would have stayed like that forever because Elsa wouldn’t have learned to love her own sister. In addition, Elsa might have been so mad at Hans she used all her energy and powers to make the whole earth explode….
- …didn’t have Olaf?
If Frozen didn’t have Olaf, then the whole movie would have been boring and long. Olaf was the bright sun of the rainy days and the sugar in the coffee. He always made us laugh and giggle. So I’m not even going to write about losing Olaf.
- … ‘s main character Elsa had another super power?
If Frozen’s main character Elsa had another super power such as fire, her castle and her dress would have been on fire. At the end, Anna would turn into ashes and Elsa carried the ashes in her hands weeping at the same time. I am sure trying to turn the ashes back into human form would not be as easy.
- …was not for children?
If Frozen was not for children, then there would be massive gun fights, violence, gambling, drug abuse and more. There would probably be more violence when Prince Hans was trying to kill Elsa because he was so desperate to get the throne. Also I feel that Olaf would force Anna to do drugs. It’s ok, kids, if you don’t understand what I just wrote, and that is why Frozen wouldn’t be for children if it was titled If Frozen Wasn’t for Children.
- …and Snow White were combined into one movie?
If Frozen and Snow White were combined into one movie, then after Elsa ran away she would have met 7 Olaves named Doc Olaf, Bashlaf, Dopeylaf, Happylaf, Sleepylaf, Sneezylaf and Grumpylaf. Those Olaves would have taken care of her until Anna came. The evil Hans would have poisoned Anna to sleep. She would have awakened when Kristoff kisses her.
- …was a singing competition?
If Frozen was a singing competition then there would have been a lot of winners. The finalists could be Elsa and Anna singing their sister duet. Then Hans, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff would be head to head for second place. The audience would have to vote to decide the winner. But personally I think the duet with Kristoff and Sven was really cute.
- …was set on a tropical beach?
If Frozen was set on a tropical beach then Olaf would have melted many, many times. Also Elsa wouldn’t have been able to wear her ice dress because it would have also melted. Basically every ”ice” and ”cold” thing in this movie would have been impossible.
- …had a unicorn?
If Frozen had a unicorn and the whole world of frozen were covered in candies and chocolates because unicorns bring joy and sweets, I would watch it over and over again just to see that unicorn’s swag. I would also rate it 100 out of 4 stars.
This is just my point of view on what might happen if Frozen had been all these cool things. You can always have your own ideas!
