Flashing screens, street performers, artists and lots of people! Times Square and Fashion District have all these characteristics in common, which make them very unique. You can go out at midnight and find some entertainment of some kind.

Everything you can wish for, you can find in Times Square at New York. There are humongous screens attached to buildings and talented street performers and artists capturing many tourists and localists. I also saw different performers including one that made music with everyday life items and ones that made custom name plates and sketched your face. Everything from jewelry to food to the arts to can be found in the Times Square. There’s no way you can be bored in the Times Square, but you can certainly be tired! There’s always something that can catch your eyes, remember to keep them open! Today, Times Square also bursted with RAINBOWS with the Pride March. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see the parade, but I had the pleasure of seeing many rainbows fill the streets.

IMG_20150628_142238When you enter Times Square, you will be amazed by the amount of noise and people. I had a hard time finding my brother in the crowd! The first thing that caught my eye was a street artist named Roman Lupu. He briskly spray-painted amazing landscapes of New York City. He has been amazing people on the streets for about three to four years in the Times Square. You can follow him on Instagram (@y_limit.) He is also a songwriter and the founder and producer of “Y-Limit.” Y-Limit’s motto is “Why limit? Be yourself! Be creative!”

In Times Square, we also saw a street performer that created “cool” music using items such as metal buckets and a fence. Many people gathered around to enjoy the pleasures of watching this talented street performer. Besides that, there was a bunch of art stands ran by talented artists. You can find stands that sold pictures of New York’s sights and sketching and cartooning stations.

Times Square is always illuminated and bright, but now, let’s move onto the “Fashion District.” Like Times Square, the Fashion District is also crowded with people. My brother and I spent most of the time taking pictures and selfies with Seward Johnson statues. The statues were labeled on a separate nameplate and placed in certain positions. You can pretend that you are in their everyday lives and take brilliant pictures with them. Some of the names of the statues were “Photo Shoot,” “Sidewalk Concert,” “Special Delivery” and “Things to Do.”

Fstatue of liberty made out of Crocsashion District is also home to big “Macy’s” which is a busy shopping mall. You can find everything from sunglasses to purses, jeans to shirts and hoodies to watches. I didn’t go inside today, but I have been inside before. It looks very small outside, but surprisingly big inside. You will find just about anything for your looks in this gigantic shopping destination. Right across Macy’s is the Croc store. There is a wall with multicolored mini-Crocs that formed a picture of the Statue of Liberty. There is also a Skechers store that had a gigantic gumball machine. There is about nothing you can’t find for your looks in New York’s Fashion District. Prepare to get your wallet out!

If you have a chance to go to New York, try to visit the Times Square and Fashion District. There’s always something you can find!
