It’s that time of the year again. School’s here! With the new semester comes back-to-school shopping. Here is a list of the top 10 supplies I would get.

  1.       PENCILS: You can’t pass one day in school without using pencils. Choosing your own favourite type is the important part. Regular pencils, mechanical lead pencils, it’s all up to you! The mechanical lead pencils with erasers on top are my favourite.
  1.    NOTEBOOKS: When you have a test or something important to remember, you can use your notebook to write down what the teacher is saying and then at home you can study from what you wrote.
  1.    THREE RINGED BINDERS: The three ringed binders will keep all your important work sheets neatly tucked inside and protected. It will also shield all of your papers from scratches or from getting ripped
  1.    DUO TANGS: Duo tangs come in handy when you don’t have a three holed paper punch. There are so many different colors and designs you can choose from. Polka dots are my favourite pattern so that’s what I would pick.
  1.    SCISSORS: There will be lots of school activities where you will need to cut things, and it will help if you have your favourite pair of good quality scissors with you.
  1.    GRAPH PAPER: Graph paper is for math. To solve math problems or any other addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division questions.
  1.    LABELS: What happens if your items get mixed up with other people’s? You can use labels to write your name on them and stick them onto your belongings so there’s no confusion.
  1.    ENGLISH DICTIONARY: The English dictionary comes in handy if you don’t know the meaning of a word—you can look it up in your English dictionary.
  1.    FRENCH DICTIONARY: In French class, if you want to translate something from French to English, or vice versa, then this is when a French-English dictionary will come in handy!

10  . CALCULATOR: In math, you probably need to calculate numbers and add them all up. The calculator will do all those things to make everything easier.

That’s it! All you need to buy for school is in this article. If you want, you can add a few things to your backpack. Be creative! Have fun!

Hi everybody! My name is Angie, but when my mom wants my attention, she calls out my sister’s name instead. So when my mom calls my sister’s name, she basically wants both of ours attention. My favourite subject is art because there is always something interesting and new to learn in art.

My hobbies are skiing in the winter, synchronized swimming in the summer, and also, playing piano. My favourite food is pizza of course. Everybody likes pizza. I like pizza because:

1. The cheese is so chewy and it can stretch really long.
2. The tomato sauce is so creamy and makes the pizza not plain.

I live in Mississauga, Ontario. That’s the end of my introduction!
